A shooting star through the sky,

          this morning.

Benjamin’s star

          burned bright and high.

Too quick

          in this World and beyond

Too soon through the air

A bright

          ember to God he belonged.

And left us

          to ponder or cry

His beautiful

          star in the sky.

His star

          is out there in love

With the stars

          in God’s heaven above.

Don’t fret

          for a life all too young

Rejoice in

          all life that is sung.
